USS FITZGERALD--Collision Location Correction--BELOW OSHIMA ISLAND, NOT ABOVE-- NY TIMES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE--REVISED DATA FOLLOWING NEW INFORMATION

(LZ 410 Danang)-- New data and followup upon viewing the NY Times story today

Collision First Reported by Reconpresseusa--(06/17/17)--

USS FITZGERALD ACX CRYSTAL--Cargo Ship, Lost, Course Error/Correction--OUT OF THE SHIPPING LANE
http://reconpresseusa.blogspot.com/2017/06/uss-fitzgerald-acx-crystal-cargo-ship_24.html

Today, the New York Time, with more data, has located the collision below the island, not above it--
at the so-called "correction" on the original map

The Path of the Container Ship That Struck a U.S. Navy Destroyer
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/06/18/world/asia/path-ship-hit-uss-fitzgerald.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur

Records show the ship turned sharply to the right around that time. The route of the destroyer is not shown on these maps because commercial tracking data doesn't include military ships, but damage to its starboard side indicates that it would have been bearing south at the time of the collision.

The Times has the same tracking path in its article initially reported 2 days prior by this blog--

Recon Presse USA was the first to report the collision location utilizing tracking information from a maritime tracking website..

USS FITZGERALD--Now We Know Why--DESTROYERS ARE CALLED "TIN CANS"-- #FITZ

IMMEDIATE RELEASE--SCUTTLEBUTT FROM STARBOARD-- UNCLASSIFIED--

Port of Danang)--  Following data now received over the TT--

The Courier-Journal (Louisville, Kentucky)-- Sept 03,1942

tin can

noun phrase
  1. A depth charge (WWII Navy)
  2. A naval warship, esp a destroyer (1937+ Navy)
  3. A car, esp a Model T Ford (1923+)

Tincan – Also seen as "Tin Can," a common nickname for a destroyer. The nickname arose because in World Wars One and Two, the hull plating of this ship type was so thin the sailors claimed they were made from tin cans. In fact, a .45 pistol bullet would penetrate it. Modern destroyers have much thicker hull plating, but the nickname persists. This nickname is sometimes abbreviated as "Can", although to a radioman a ‘can’ is a set of headphones.

ARLEIGH-BURKE CLASS HULL--
http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=95398&page=1
The massive but speedy $1 billion USS Cole, powered by four jet engines similar to those used in airliners, is one of the Navy’s most advanced warships, built around the high-tech Aegis combat system, which employs the latest anti-aircraft and anti-submarine technology.
It carries batteries of anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles, a cannon that can launch five-inch shells more than 10 miles and two Gatling guns that each can fire 50 bullets a second.
Adm. Vernon Clark, chief of naval operations, said the ship’s hull varies in thickness but is covered with half-inch steel at the waterline that is capable of withstanding 51,000 pounds per square inch where the powerful explosion ripped it open.

NOTE:
The USS Cole bombing was a terrorist attack against the United States Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Cole on 12 October 2000, while it was being refueled in Yemen's Aden harbor.

#FITZ : Saga of the Seven Sailors--POETRY BY JC LANGELLE (C) 2017 CC #FITZGERALD

As POTUS tweeted from his retreat at  Camp David
Wondering if the special prosecutor was going to hand him an affidavit
Over some menial Beltway investigation
And his supporters held their breath across the nation

Out on the high seas off the coast of Japan
The impossible had just somehow happened
A cargo ship from the Philippines
With a load of sushi and fake blue jeans

Approached  one of the US Navy's vessels
Armed to the teeth with cruise missiles
The cargo ship proceeded to collide
With a midship starboard broadside

With a gaping hole in poured the ocean
In the middle of all the commotion
The Fitz managed to get underway
As the Captain gave orders for anchors aweigh.

But upon doing a muster of the crew
All hands on deck and this means you
It turned up that a number of sailors were gone
And a search was called at the break of dawn.

The waters were scoured from the sea and the sky
As POTUS at Camp David could only wonder why
He tweeted he hoped they would soon be found
But everybody knew the seven had drowned.

A day went by and it soon went to two
Then what was feared suddenly came true
It was hard to imagine what their lives were worth
When they were found dead in a flooded berth.

So let the politicians in their pompous arena
Continue with their game of subpoena
Let them all have congressional hearings
That amount to nothing but television ratings.

Let them forget when it drops off the news
Who's minding the store and paying the dues
Let the rich wine and dine at the Ritz
The rest of us will remember who died on the Fitz.

USS FITZGERALD ACX CRYSTAL--Cargo Ship, Lost, Course Error/Correction--OUT OF THE SHIPPING LANE

IMMEDIATE RELEASE--USN BD/R

(LZ 410 Danang)--Clearly, the cargo ship missed its navigational (way)point below Oshima Island and made its course correction as indicated by the plot history. Instead of  making the course adjustment that would have placed the ship back on track, it reversed course momentarily below Oshima Island and attempted to correct.

Instead, the decision was made on the bridge to return to the course that would take it below Oshima and pick up the lane on the way into Tokyo. Result, it collided with the destroyer.

Another aspect for speculation is that the abrupt change of course alerted the maritime authorities and the destroyer was dispatched to hail the bridge of the Crystal and get it intentions.

CARGO SHIP COURSE PLOT FOLLOWING COLLISION--

HYPOTHESIS 001)--Indications from angle of collision are that Navy vessel attempted to cut across the path of the cargo ship as damage to the destroyer is midship, broadside, starboard.

The container vessel damage is on the port bow. It also appears that, from early data gathered from Marine Traffic, which monitors the locations and courses of commercial vessels, the ACX Crystal was in a designated shipping lane.

The injured Captain of the destroyer was immediately airlifted from the crippled vessel and sequestered away, probably for debriefing and preventing the long arm of the media to interfere or draw speculation as to what happened....

HYPOTHESIS 002)-- The cargo ship deliberately rammed the destroyer.

DANGEROUS WOMAN--Poetry by JC Langelle-- REPUBLISHED (C) 2017 LZ410 DANANG

You can tell it to the British,  tell it to the French
Tell the politicians sitting on a fence.
Something just happened, a foreboding omen
That goes by the name of Dangerous Woman

Somewhere out there on the tour
Behind the scenes, vague and obscure
Hidden in the meaning of the Tarot cards
Lost in the number of security guards

When Scotland Yard can't find a clue
As the Queen arrives in her best blue
In the dark at Trafalgar Square
Dangerous Woman recites a prayer.

It's midnight over at the Louvre
As the watchman serves an hors d'oerves
And blames Picasso for Cubism
With some melancholy euphuism.

Meantime General Charles De Gaulle
Dances at the military ball
When the shadow from the lunar gnomon
Points toward the Dangerous Woman.

As her plane takes off from Orly Field
The gendarmes keep their eyes peeled
While on the ground President Macron
Blows a kiss to Dangerous Woman.

Flying above a magnificent cloud
Over the rainbow and singing loud
No matter what the show must go on
For she's the Dangerous Woman.

#MANCHESTER--Terror Level "Critical"--DRAGNET..!!

The lab will be found, others arrested--
(Soho Bureau)--Still in shock over the brazen attack on innocent concert goers at Monday's show, police must now act with lightning speed to determine, not just if there were others involved, but also if more attacks will follow.

With the terror alert level raised to "Critical",  and with the arrest of others who may have been involved in the plotting of the crime, those remaining have no other choice but to execute further attacks, or break and run. In addition, the boasting by the Middle East terror group taking responsibility, in effect, complicity for the Manchester attack, makes it even more desperate for those who are involved, and probably abandoned now that the event is complete.

The last thing the Middle East terror group wants is exposure to its entire network so those who are in the immediate cell will be exposed, left behind to fend for themselves.

In the process, the dead giveaway will be obvious as they scatter to save themselves, revealing the location of the bomb making lab to the dragnet, becoming ever more desperate as they botch their escape.

As has been seen in nearly every one of these crimes, the execution may be complete and a success but the coverup and escape has nearly a one hundred percent chance to fail.  Expect to to see this in the days that follow.

#NORTHKOREA--KIM JONG-UN: TOO BIG TO FAIL--Poetry by JC Langelle --IMMEDIATE RELEASE (C) 2017

As ancient generals stood close by
Wearing medals to personify
That in a battle full-scale
They may just be too big to fail

This guy's nothing but a thorn in the side
Of every leader worldwide
He finds it very difficult
To go a day without an insult.
He's declared war on the Sea of Japan
Firing missiles as fast as he can
They land in the water after hundreds of miles
As he stands by the gantry and waves and smiles.

Who is this latest phenomenon
Who's never heard of Panmunjom
And the war that ended back in Fifty-Three
When the Yanks went back to the Land of the Free.
But they drew a line at the 38th parallel
And said don't cross or be blown to Hell.
It was a war that nobody won
But that don't mean a thing to Kim Jong Un.

If you get off the plane in Pyongyang
You could be arrested by some of his gang
He'll announce to the world that you're a spy
Before he lets another missile fly.
You  may disappear into some jail
Where the soup is cold and the bread is stale
You could just vanish without a trace.
Or have  VX stuffed in your face.

In New York the expectations
Are very low at the United Nations
There doesn't seem to be a workable plan
To deal with this nuisance of a man
China keeps hiding in the shadows
As the rest of the Security Council oppose
Taking any responsible vote
That will put a knife to Kim's throat.

Goose stepping troops on the Day of the Sun
Saluted allegiance to Kim Jong Un
Followed by tanks and missiles on trucks
That must have cost megabucks
As ancient generals stood close by
Wearing medals to personify
That in a battle full-scale
They may just be too big to fail

Teams were unsuccessful in attempting to bring the well under control Friday night," responders have determined that the well has “jacked up,” or risen, approximately 3 – 4 feet; this vertical movement of the well caused the pressure gauge to break off and prevented operations from pumping into the well to kill it," the report states.

AP BULLETIN--

Workers from the Alaska Department of Conservation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Saturday night were able to connect hoses to valves that allow pressure in the well to be reduced, according to a statement from the state conservation department.

BPXA Flow Station 1 Drill Site 2 Well 3 Release

Location BPXA Drill Site 2 (DS2) pad, Well 3 in the Greater Prudhoe Bay area approximately 5 miles from the Deadhorse Airport (Lat/Long: 70.268653, -148.78641).
Product/Quantity The well is currently venting gas, which caused a spray of crude to impact the well pad. A Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) overflight shows that the crude spray plume did not leave the pad, however, the situation is not safe yet for responders to access the area and confirm that there have been no impacts to adjacent tundra. No volume estimate for crude spray released is available at this time.
Cause The cause of the release is unknown at this time. ADEC is coordinating with BPXA and the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) to investigate the cause of the release. Well 3 is an oil and gas production well.
